The Resurrection

We adore You O' Christ and we praise you ... Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the World.

On Easter Sunday, Jesus' friends were thrilled when He appeared to them. He had risen from the dead! Jesus taught us how to live and how to die. Now by rising, He taught us that there is life after death. Jesus is always with us.

The joys of Easter give us hope that no matter how much we suffer in this life, there is the promise of eternal life with God in Heaven. As we go through life, we need to try our best to imitate Jesus in all that we say and do. We should always remember what Jesus taught us. Love God above all else and love your neighbor as yourself.

Dear Lord, help us to try to imitate Jesus in life and in death. Give us the strength to be good people. Help us to always remember the joys of Easter and the promise of eternal life in Heaven.

Lord Jesus crucified ... Have mercy on us.
