I love shopping with Scrip because it allows me to purchase all of the store cards that I need in one stop. This is especially helpful when shopping for gift cards during the holidays. Another great thing about Scrip is being able to have family members purchase cards under our name which helps us meet our fundraising goal and helps out the school! And with so many different places to choose from, you can find everything you're looking for!

Since Scrip has become available through ICS, our family has relied on it as a very practical way to help us meet our fundraising requirements. We keep the cards on hand for routine purchases like groceries and fuel as well order them as presents for friends and family around the holidays or for special occasions. The process of ordering and receiving the cards is extremely convenient!

Scrip is a great fundraising tool for Immaculate Conception. It is free and easy. It's like giving ICS free money for grocery shopping, getting gas, and buying gifts that I would buy anyway. I'm so glad that I am able to fulfill my fundraising commitment in such an easy way. I'm also so glad that I can help ICS in this little way.

I've been using SCRIP cards for quite a while now, so it has become a habit for me. About once a month on Sunday evening, I'll check my inventory and place an order. The ones we purchase most often are Jewel, Walmart, Walgreens, Chile's and IHOP - all local establishments. For clothes shopping, I like to keep Kohl's, Penney's and Sears on hand. When we travel, we have used SCRIP for motels and restaurants, and there are also many different gas cards.
There have been many new companies added since I've started using SCRIP. They now have "reloadable" cards and "ScripNow" certificates - I encourage everyone to check it out at shopwithscrip.com.

There are two items that we always use each month-groceries and gas. We purchase the Scrip cards for Jewel and BP and then use them just like cash. It's as easy as pie!! And to think the school and church benefit from that.
Back in Indiana where I used to be stationed a parish was able to build a rectory from the profits made from Scrip. Maybe our church could be built with scrip!!!? Nothing is impossible with God and and the use of scrip. Try it! Maybe during Lent take an extra minute and purchase scrip.

Since my husband travels, we just take advantage of the everyday places he stays and dines and use scrip to pay for them. As an example, Marriott hotels is an obvious choice and ICS gets 8% each time. We’ve already purchased our Scrip cards for our spring break vacation. I also like to keep a few cards for the local shopping and dining, like Chili’s, itunes and Wal-Mart. Lisa makes it really easy to make an order before Monday morning (9:00 am) and receive your cards by Thurs.

When scrip first came out I didn't join the band wagon right away! But, I've been purchasing scrip for about 1 1/2 years now and I've found it to be quite easy. Once you have your login and password you can easily maneuver around the website. I order a lot for both my Mom and my family. Our top cards include Jewel, BP Amoco, Macy's, Pottery Barn and American Eagle to name a few. In my opinion once you have the hang of it, it's quite simple. Plus the main thing is that it's a money maker for our school. Lisa is always there to answer questions and is very accommodating. Give it a try!

With a little planning ahead we have integrated using SCRIP for most of our grocery shopping at either Walmart or Jewel. Our biggest purchases have been for home improvements or yard projects through Menards. We also like to keep the local stores on hand such as BP, Walgreens, or Chilis. Recently we have learned that Lands End card with a rebate of 16% can be used at LandsEnd, Sears, and also Mygopher.com (grocery store located near Louis Mall). Also we found it very easy to use for Christmas purchases or to give as the gift itself. At Christmas time, we even took orders early from other family members. I find using SCRIP very easy by ordering most of the time online on Sunday night and paying with presto pay which is then deducted automatically from my checking account within a few days. On Thursday my cards are ready to pick up. If I forget to purchase online, I stop in and purchase my local stores from the SCRIP store in the office. The whole SCRIP process is very organized and an easy way to support the school.

We have been using SCRIP for many years now. Before it came to ICS, we would purchase it from relatives in Bloomington and in WI. We spent thousands of dollars on SCRIP on Home Depot and Menards while we were building a house. It just took a little pre planning. We made sure we always had some SCRIP on hand in case we had to make a trip to Home Depot or Menards. Now that SCRIP is here, we have been purchasing it from ICS. We no longer have children at the school, so we have named a family to benefit from our SCRIP purchases toward their fundraising requirements. I always keep on hand some WalMart, Menards and Jewel SCRIP, as those are some of the places that we shop. For Christmas I bought all my gift cards that were requested from my family and available from SCRIP and stocking stuffer cards also. Lets face it, everyone buys food, gas, and other types of items from many of the businesses in town. It just takes a little planning a head of time and you can help out the school by purchasing SCRIP. If you don't have any children at the school, why don't you consider adopting a family at the school and help them out with their SCRIP fundraising requirements. Periodically some of the participants will raise the percent of return that they give to the school. That happened to be when I ordered my SCRIP at Christmas. Many of the participants had almost doubled their return, thus being a greater benefit to the school. If you get a chance, check out the website and look under specials. If you are taking a trip, plan ahead you can get hotel, food, gas, airlines on SCRIP. The website and ordering system is very easy to navigate.
