Tuition

All ICS families are required to create an account in the our new tuition accounting FACTS system. When you create your account, you’ll have the option of paying by credit and debit cards with a fee or a bank account transfer at no charge. At the same time you’ll be choosing your tuition payment schedule although the tuition amounts have not been entered yet. We need all ICS families to complete this process even if you plan to drop off a check at the school office.  If you do not have internet access, please call the school and make an appointment with Mrs. Swanson ([email protected]to help you.

It is suggested that parishioner families support the church at a minimum rate of $12 per week.

Immaculate Conception Parish regards Catholic Education as one of its highest priorities, and both subsidizes it generally and provides for scholarships, so that every parish family has access to affordable Catholic elementary education. The school warmly welcomes families from outside the parish and tuition rates for these families are set accordingly.

Catholic families seeking parishioner tuition rates are expected to register in the parish office, attend Sunday Mass, participate in parish life and activities, and make an annual commitment towards the financial support of the parish. When families fail to live up to their Catholic responsibilities, they place themselves in a position of losing the privilege of the Parishioner Tuition Rate.

Although the space in our Catholic School is limited, priority in initial enrollment is given to Catholic families. No child is deprived of a Catholic education because of a family’s inability to pay. A financially needy family that values the Catholic faith, attends Sunday Mass, and actively supports the parish in other ways should apply for tuition assistance.

Money is available thanks to the Jim Feeney Memorial Scholarship, the Tom Gabel Goodwill Grant, the Catholic Education Foundation, and other sources. Please contact Father Jason Stone or Mrs. Stacey Swanson to discuss tuition assistance if there is such a need.

Tuition or fees for families enrolling in the school during the school year or transferring from the school during the school year will be based on a prorated daily rate. Families withdrawing from the school that have overpaid will be given a refund for the amount of the overpayment.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Tuition Assistance from the Catholic Education Foundation

The Diocesan Catholic Education Foundation will be awarding scholarship grants worth a minimum of $700 to elementary school families for the 2021-22 school year. Students entering kindergarten through grade eight are eligible for assistance.

The deadline for applying to FACTS is March 1st. You should apply online at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. Please be aware that all supporting documentation must be sent to the FACTS Office by March 1st. Questions on any portion of the application should be directed to the FACTS Office at 1-866-315-9262.

A frequent question that is asked is what income level is too high and cuts off tuition assistance. Income is just one factor considered – other factors include housing costs, number of children, other tuition costs, special circumstances, etc. We cannot give a specific dollar amount as to whether to apply or not.

Families who were granted awards last year must re-apply. Families will be notified in May of awards. Additional notification will be sent to the school. There is a $35 fee for the application.

It should be noted that this scholarship is not related to the Jim Feeney Memorial Scholarship or any other tuition assistance provided by I.C.S. Families planning to apply for a scholarship provided by I.C.S. should also apply for this. Please contact the school office if you need more information.

Jim Feeney Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship was created in 2005 in memory of Mr. Jim Feeney. Mr. Feeney was a graduate of Immaculate Conception School and served the school as a volunteer in several capacities. His years of service as a board member, coach, and athletic director touched the lives of many people.

Tom Gabel Goodwill Grant

Tuition assistance is also available through a grant in honor and memory of former I.C.S. student Tom Gabel. Tom’s love of life and of others is perpetuated through this grant. It has awarded $5,000 in tuition assistance each year for many years.

For information regarding tuition assistance at I.C.S., please contact the school office by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at
